How did your gmail account get hacked, anyway? Did you have a weak password or something? One lesson I learned is to use an account for my Blogger ID that is NOT the same as the e-mail blog readers can use to correspond with me. The latter is public, and anyone learning it can try a brute-force cracking attack to discover the password: but if the actual blog-ID account isn't publicized, and isn't an obvious name, they won't know which e-mail account to try to hack in the first place.
